I suspect that the prices that would be quoted in June - August would be lower than prices quoted in January in Breckenridge. The heating companies probably have more work than they can handle right now.
$30K sounds awfully expensive, although it appears your property is 2 stories which certainly would complicate the job and increase the cost. I assume the radient flooring would be gas fired, so your fuel cost would be comparable with either system.
Would the radient flooring job include a new, high efficiency water heater? If you might be needing a new water heater soon, that might help to offset the high cost.
